What are the different meal programs offered?

Our programs begin on Monday and Friday, with delivery between 5:00-8:00 AM. Because we place special orders for produce and products and have a limited number of spots to fill each week, we ask that you please sign up and complete your order 3 days prior so we have plenty of time to prepare for you. For example, if you sign up by 6 pm Friday to begin a program on Monday, we will deliver early Monday morning.

What can I expect on a twenty-five eight meal delivery program?

You can expect beyond-organic local produce, 100% pastured animal proteins, and thoughtfully curated dishes that are infused with love and support for you mama. We can assure you, you will not be disappointed with your mama food!

Can I modify the meals I receive? 

While most of our programs accommodate diets ranging from vegan to paleo, we are still a small operation and not a personal chef service. We do not currently accept adjustments to any of our meals. We hope you understand that this is because we want to be able to share healthy and healing food with as many people as possible. If you have severe allergies or dislikes, our service may not be the right fit for you.

Can I choose my menu?

We offer a set menu of nourishing meals that rotate weekly, as well as seasonally. You can always view next week’s menu here.

What comes in each delivery?

Depending on how many days you select for your package, you will receive 2-3 days of food in a single delivery.

Do I have to cook anything?

No need to cook, your food will arrive fully prepared, ready to heat and eat!

How do I heat the meals?

We don't condone the use of microwaves. Anything that needs to be reheated should be done so in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or on the stove top on medium-low heat for 10 minutes or until it's warm throughout. Dinners and soups are the only items that will need to be heated. Dinner containers can be heated in the oven up to 400 degrees, without the lid.

Does the program include snacks?

Snacks are extras that you can add on during the checkout process. They will not be included unless selected. Same with drinks, bread, and broths.

What is the return policy for twenty-five eight meal delivery program?

We want you to have the best experience possible. We will either replace the meal in question or we will issue a credit for your next delivery. Meal credits do not expire. Please email support@twenty-fiveeight.com to report any problems you are experiencing.

Where are the meals prepared?

All meals are prepared and cooked in our own commercial kitchen space in Downtown LA. Our chefs are certified by ServSafe and we follow all health code requirements to ensure your food is handled with caution, love, and respect. Our chef is a certified Reiki master as well, so each meal is thoughtfully energized with good vibrations and healing energy just for you, mama.

Subscription

How does a twenty-five eight subscription work?

You signup for our subscription by choosing how many meals you want per day and for how many days per week. From there, you will be guided through the next screen to add any add-ons to your order. Keep in mind these add-ons will recur weekly with your subscription. Then you will receive your order either all in one delivery day or split into 2 days depending on the number of days selected. We like to split up large deliveries to keep food as fresh as possible. You can pause or cancel your subscription up to 48 hours before your delivery day. Your credit card will be charged weekly.

As a subscriber, how do I skip a week of meals or change my meal program?

You can change your meal program settings by logging into your back office and changing your delivery preferences.

How do I cancel my twenty-five eight subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by emailing support@twenty-fiveeight.com and one of our Momcierge associates will assist you with your cancellation.

What is your cancellation policy?

We will make every effort to see that you receive your order on time. If for any reason we are unable to do so, you will be notified by email and/or by phone. No refunds will be given for orders which are delayed, provided they are delivered within the same scheduled day. If you are traveling or unable to accept delivery, please notify us 48-hours before a delivery day and we will reschedule it for you. Orders can be canceled without charge 48-hours prior to delivery, but thereafter no refunds will be issued. Refunds will not be issued once a program has started. You are able to pause a program at any time with a 48-hour notice, and your credit will be held until you are ready to begin again.

How soon can I begin?

Depending on the day of the week, you will begin on the next available delivery date. We currently deliver on Monday AM and Thursday AM to LA + Orange County. So, if you order before Monday you’ll receive your meals Thursday. If you order before Friday, you’ll receive your meals the following Monday. We contract out to a third party service for delivery, and unfortunately, you are not able to request a specific delivery time. If you are outside of LA + Orange County your delivery date and time will vary depending on location. You will receive email updates with this information.

How many deliveries will I receive?

Where do you deliver?

When do you deliver?

We delivery between 5:00-8:00 AM on Monday + Thursday. If you are located outside of LA + Orange County your delivery date and time will vary depending on location. You will receive email updates with this information. 

Who delivers the food?

We partnered with Milk & Eggs as our courier service. They are a grocery delivery company, so they are already making deliveries in LA + Orange County, we tagged along for an eco-conscious way to deliver your nourishment!

Will my food stay fresh in transit?

Yes, we delivery with plenty of ice packs to keep your food cool and at safe temperatures. Once you receive your bag, please immediately store your food in your refrigerator.

What if I'm not home during delivery?

Our courier will leave your bag in a safe place until you arrive. Please be clear and specify delivery instructions on your sign up form so we can ensure delivery. If we can't deliver your meals as instructed you will still be charged for them.

How do I modify my delivery time/address/instructions?

You can modify all of your personal information in your account. Simply login using the credentials you signed up with and navigate to your account settings. If you have any trouble with this, please email support@twenty-fiveeight.com and one of our Momcierge associates will assist you.

What do I do with the cooler bags, glass jars, and ice packs in my delivery?

You can return them on the next delivery date. Simply leave them in the same location as your previous bag was dropped, and our courier service will take them and leave your new delivery in its place. Please rinse out all glass jars prior to returning them.

Is your meal packaging eco-friendly?

Our dinner and lunch containers are made of glass and bagasse, a by-product of sugarcane processing, which uses no trees and is compostable in any home or commercial compost facility. When you're done with your meal, you can discard the container in your local compost for the earth to reuse. The lids to the containers are compostable as well, please remove them and put them into your recycling bin. Don't forget to leave your cooler bags and ice packs out for our driver to pick up on delivery days and return to us!
